South Africa braces for a stormy week | SA News

JOHANNESBURG – Brace yourself for a wet week ahead, South Africa!

KwaZulu-Natal can expect heavy downpours, strong winds, hail and intense lightning.

Authorities are bracing for the risk of flooding, infrastructure damage, and dangerous driving conditions.

Limpopo, Gauteng and Mpumalanga are also likely to see afternoon thunderstorms.

They will likely face a lower risk of severe impact, but there’s potential risk of localised flooding, hail damage, and power disruptions.

Christmas: Christmas is celebrated on December 25, and many South Africans
enjoy festive meals and family gatherings during the holiday season.
