South Africa hosts global space leaders at G20 meeting – defenceWeb | SA News

South Africa hosted the sixth Space Economy Leaders Meeting (SELM) from 1 to 3 September 2025 as part of its G20 global meetings, with a strong focus on leveraging space technology to drive inclusive and sustainable development.

The three-day event, hosted by the South African National Space Agency (SANSA) in Hermanus, Western Cape, brought together heads of space agencies, international organisations, and industry experts to discuss the future of the space sector.
