From corporate boardrooms to sailing adventures and the wonderfully unpredictable world of fiction, South African author Steve Hegerstrom has built a diverse collection of books inspired by life, experience and imagination.

His latest title, *Billy Bonkers – Trials and Tribulations*, introduces readers to an eccentric character whose theories about time travel, aliens and everyday life lead to a series of amusing and often unexpected situations.

Drawing inspiration from real-life experiences, Steve blends humour, observation and creative storytelling to explore the absurdities of life. His writing reflects a varied career that took him across South Africa and other parts of Africa, alongside his interests in sailing, adventure and Reiki.

Steve’s books span several genres, including humour, children’s fiction, fantasy, sailing and corporate life. His titles include *Race to Win*, *Corporate Life – The Good, the Bad and the Ugly*, *Egor the Giant Dwarf* and *Wicked Witches and the Crystals of Kryon*.

Through Book Mongers, readers can discover Steve’s growing collection and explore the stories behind his work.

“If a young man tells his date how handsome, smart and successful he is – that’s advertising. If the young man tells his date she’s intelligent, looks lovely, and is a great conversationalist, he’s saying the right things to the right person and that’s marketing. If someone else tells the young woman how handsome, smart and successful her date is – that’s PR.” – S. H. Simmons

“We do need these two words, “public” and “relations”—and, of course, those words are still extremely important. However, those 3 billion people who are social media users are all dealing with “relations,” and everything has become “public”! With social media, everything has been “public” for quite a while now; there is nothing “nonpublic” anymore.” ~ Maxim Behar, The Global PR Revolution: How Thought Leaders Succeed in the Transformed World of PR
