South African solar panel company scores big win against government | SA News


Durban-based solar panel firm ArtSolar has scored an early win in its case against the South African government over alleged non-compliance with local procurement requirements in private power projects.

ArtSolar first filed papers in the Pretoria High Court in 2024, accusing the government of awarding solar contracts to 18 companies that had not complied with local content requirements.
