“Stop the Chaos. Start Service Delivery”

13 October 2026 by Guest

Statement by Ashor Sarupen – DA National Campaign Manager:

Today the DA has launched our final campaign poster of the 2026 Local Government Election campaign, with the slogan:

“STOP THE CHAOS. START SERVICE DELIVERY”

As we approach the final 21 days of the campaign to get our towns and cities working for all, our final slogan is deliberately hard-hitting.

Only the DA is big enough to beat the ANC, to build stable a government to deliver services.

Voters have the real power in this Election to bring an end to the chaos that has taken towns and cities to breaking point. In hundreds of town and cities this chaos begins with the ANC, where corruption has destroyed services and cadre deployment has captured the administration. When the voters deny the ANC power, they use patronage to take advantage of the fragmentation and cling on to power.

The power to stop the chaos, stop the corruption and stop the cadre deployment rests with voters who want a different future.

The Slogan elements mean:

“STOP THE CHAOS” – Municipalities need stability not chaos. The ANC has brought chaos. It is the chaos of state capture, cadre deployment, tenderpreneurs and corruption that creates unstable governments. Once they have captured the positions, they fight over tenders. That chaos must stop, so that residents come first again.

“START SERVICE DELIVERY” – This means that voting for a change of government can get our municipalities working for all. In this election, if voters unite, the DA is the only party big enough to deliver change that will get our towns and cities working.

This is the last chance to save your town.

If you want to bring better services to your city and town, unite behind the DA.

Vote DA to stop the chaos and start service delivery.
