Support for Mzansi’s Entrepreneurs and Small Businesses

18 August 2025 by Guest

Johannesburg, 18 August 2025 – Hyundai Automotive South Africa is proud to announce its participation in the upcoming National Small Business Chamber (NSBC) The Business Show Africa 2025, taking place from 3–4 September 2025 at the Sandton Convention Centre.

Most entrepreneurs and small businesses across South Africa lack access to advanced fleet management tools or logistics technology, which reduces their competitiveness. As a trusted name in mobility for over two decades, Hyundai Automotive South Africa has helped thousands of local small businesses grow by providing reliable vehicles and exceptional service support across the country.

“We understand the challenges Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) face. Whether you are a delivery driver, small shop owner, technician or tradesperson; entrepreneurs and SMEs depend on practical and affordable transport solutions to keep their businesses afloat,” said Stanley Anderson, CEO of Hyundai South Africa.

With Hyundai light commercial sales growing by over 20% this year, Hyundai continues to prove its commitment to this sector. As part of its commercial range, the automobile company has vehicles designed for local business needs, including:

  • Hyundai GRAND i10 Cargo – ideal for urban deliveries and compact operations.
  • Hyundai VENUE Cargo – spacious, safe and cost-effective for growing businesses.
  • H-100 Bakkie – a local favourite, known for its strength and reliability.
  • Hyundai STARIA Panel Van – modern design with ample space for transport.

Every vehicle comes with a 7-year/200,000 km warranty, which includes roadside assistance. Our customers are also supported by a nationwide dealer and parts network, ensuring minimal downtime and easy maintenance. SMEs who require a larger load capacity, we also offer the EX8 medium commercial vehicle, with a 4-year unlimited warranty.

Visit Hyundai Automotive South Africa at NSBC The Business Show Africa 2025 and take the next step in driving your small business forward.

US$ reserves: When it comes to holding the glorified US$, South Africa ranks 32nd out of 165 countries in terms of the size of its US$ reserves. South Africa is ranked ahead of Australia, Sweden and Chile. The USA ranks 17th, the UK 23rd, China is ranked 1. The size of a country’s US$ reserves is a reflection of its export market. South Africa clearly has a favourable export market. Again, a good market to be in for any start-up.
