Tazmin Brits’ back-to-back centuries hands South Africa 25-run victory in 2nd ODI | SA News

Proteas women’s batters Tazmin Brits and Laura Wolvaardt scored centuries to help South Africa seal a 25-run victory at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Friday, handing the visitors an unassailable 2-0 lead with one match remaining in the series.

While Brits and Wolvaardt set the foundation for the victory, it was a combined bowling and fielding effort that secured it.

With first-choice bowlers Ayabonga Khaka and Nonkululeko Mlaba missing the match, the likes of Masabata Klaas, Nadine de Klerk and Nondumiso Shangase had to step up to help the team secure a victory.

Marizanne Kapp led the bowling attack, striking early as she dismissed Muneeba Ali (1) in the third over of the 313 run…
