Betway SA20 is set to elevate its world-class broadcast experience for Season 4, unveiling a star-studded commentary team featuring some of the biggest names in global cricket. The League is set to deliver the most comprehensive and engaging broadcast to date, headlined by superstars Dale Steyn, Eoin Morgan, Robin Uthappa, Kevin Pietersen, JP Duminy and AB de Villiers.

As the competition gears up for another blockbuster season starting on 26 December 2025, viewers can look forward to expert analysis, high-quality storytelling, and in-depth insights from a powerhouse group of analysts who bring decades of international experience to the commentary box.

The addition of Steyn and Morgan significantly strengthens the analysis across all 34 matches. Their presence will give fans an unparalleled view into fast-bowling tactics, leadership decisions, team strategy, and match-defining moments.

“Our partnership with SuperSport is central to the growth of the Betway SA20, and this year’s exciting broadcast lineup will give fans an unrivalled viewing experience,” Betway SA20 League Commissioner, Graeme Smith said. “Welcoming legends like Dale Steyn and Eoin Morgan strengthens an already exceptional group of analysts who will take our coverage to a new level. Their insights and understanding of the modern game will add incredible depth to our broadcast. We’re proud to partner with SuperSport to ensure fans across South Africa and around the world feel closer to the action than ever before.”

Leading the international charge are big hitters like former England captain Kevin Pietersen, the masterful Indian batter Robin Uthappa, and the renowned global voice of cricket, Mark Nicholas. Adding their invaluable expertise to the mix is a legendary panel of Proteas icons who know the local conditions better than anyone. Leading this vital home-ground insight is none other than AB de Villiers, universally acknowledged as one of the best, most destructive hitters T20 cricket has ever seen. He is backed by the strategic genius of JP Duminy, the proven batting prowess of Ashwell Prince, the all-round firepower of Chris Morris, and the pinpoint bowling expertise of Vernon Philander.

“Betway SA20 is the definitive summer spectacle, and SuperSport is its home, delivering all 34 electrifying matches live to fans across the continent,” said Rendani Ramovha, CANAL+ Africa Director: Content, Sport (English & Portuguese).

“We have raised the bar for Season 4 by bringing in cricketing icons such as Dale Steyn and Eoin Morgan, guaranteeing that our world-class analysis matches the brilliance on the field.

“This unique blend of broadcast experiential strategy and on-site, in-stadium atmosphere emphasis ensures we are the only place to experience the Betway SA20 in its entirety.”

Keeping the action flowing and bringing incredible energy are the likes of Natalie Germanos, Mpumelelo Mbangwa, Kass Naidoo, Mark Butcher, Nikhil Uttamchandani, Lesego Pooe, Motshidisi Mohono, and Kriya Gangiah.

IsiXhosa coverage will once again feature fan favourites Mluleki Ntsabo, Makhaya Ntini, Mfuneko Ngam, Monde Zondeki, Sixolele Sotyelelwa, joined this season by Proteas Women wicketkeeper Sinalo Jafta.

#XhosaCommentary will also come alive on the ground at DStv Access games, giving fans a chance to see their favourite voices in person.

Afrikaans coverage returns with Jeremy Fredericks, Johnny Davids, Louis Wilkinson and Gerhardus Liebenberg, with former Proteas Fanie de Villiers and Henry Davids adding their on-field experience to the booth.

The extensive coverage will feature cutting-edge technology, ultra-high-definition (UHD) visuals, and immersive sound, transporting viewers directly into the heart of the action taking place across the nation’s premier cricket venues.
