A KFC employee accidentally revealed the brand’s upcoming ?5+5 Tuesday promo online, instantly triggering national chaos among hungry South Africans.

KFC’s response?

The internet has since declared the employee:

  • “Minister of Information”
  • “The Plug”
  • “Employee of the Month AND a promotion to Head of National Announcements”

At this point, South Africans trust TikTok cashiers more than official announcements.
