Two Weeks to Go Until AERO South Africa 2025

10 June 2025 by Guest

We’re just two weeks away from the 5th edition of AERO South Africa, taking place from 25–27 June 2025 at Lanseria International Airport. As a dedicated general aviation business-to-business event in Southern Africa, AERO South Africa continues to create a valuable platform for the industry to connect, engage, and grow.

This year we welcome 61 confirmed exhibitors covering OEMs, maintenance providers, pilot training, and associations representing the broader general aviation sector. In addition, visitors can expect to see various static aircraft displayed on site.

Programme Overview

A full three-day programme will run in the Speaker Theatre, located in the High Life Lounge, sponsored by ExecuJet with coffee service sponsored by Investec. The sessions will address key topics relevant to the current general aviation environment and provide an opportunity for knowledge sharing across the sector.

On Thursday, 26 June, the African Business Aviation Association (AfBAA) will host a Safety and Training Workshop in the speaking theatre located in the High Life Lounge.

Business matchmaking sessions will take place in the High Life Lounge, where a dedicated space will be available for exhibitors and trade visitors to engage in meaningful business discussions.

Conferences and Industry Partnerships

The Smart Cities, Smart Skies Conference will take place on 25 and 27 June in the Aeronautical Aviation Hangar, presented in collaboration with the Gauteng Tourism Authority (GTA), Gauteng Growth and Development Agency (GGDA), City of Tshwane (COT), Gauteng Economic Development (GED), and Aeronautical Aviation. The programme will focus on the role of aviation in supporting and shaping smart city development in South Africa.

A dedicated Youth Development Programme, sponsored by ATNS, will take place on Thursday, 26 June in the Aeronautical Aviation Hangar. This initiative is designed to introduce learners to career opportunities in the aviation sector and is presented in close collaboration with the event’s key partners.

Getting to the Show

Lanseria International Airport is easily accessible whether you’re flying in or driving. For fly-ins, the airport is ready to accommodate general aviation aircraft. For those driving, parking and a shuttle service will be available to take visitors directly to the showgrounds.

Visitor Registration is Now Open

We’re looking forward to welcoming the general aviation community to AERO South Africa 2025. With a strong exhibitor base, an industry-driven programme, and solid support from our partners, the event aims to deliver value across all levels of participation.

About AERO South Africa: AERO South Africa is the premier business-to-business trade show for the General Aviation industry in Southern Africa. The event connects industry professionals, showcases innovations, and facilitates meaningful discussions on the future of aviation.
