SA Rugby announced an updated fixture list for the opening two days of the new Women’s Under-20 Week, which kicks off in Mthatha on Sunday.
The tournament, which was announced last week, will kick off with a clash between the Blue Bulls and SWD, with Limpopo taking on Griquas in the final match after the opening ceremony.
The second day will start with the encounter between Eastern Province and the Sharks, and will conclude with Free State taking on the Golden Lions.
The fixtures were determined based on the rankings of the last Youth Training Centre (YTC) tournament held in Cape Town in 2022.
The matches on the third and fourth days (Tuesday 26 and Wednesday 27 September) will be determined by the rankings following the opening two rounds, while all 12 participating teams will be in action on the final day of the tournament (Thursday 28 September).
