Winners of the 2024 naamsa Accelerator Awards

22 October 2024 by Guest

WesBank, proud sponsor of the naamsa Accelerator Awards, congratulates all the winners in this year’s competition, as well as the finalists who made the shortlist for 2024.

Held at the conclusion of SA Auto Week, the awards bestowed honour on individuals and organisations that stood out in 2024 for consistently pursuing excellence in their respective fields and fostered innovation that catapults the local automotive sector into its next century.

Speaking at the awards function at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, WesBank CEO Ghana Msibi said: “The automotive industry is about more than just cars. It is about mobility, empowerment, and shaping the future. The sector touches every corner of society, enabling individuals, families, and businesses to move forward and create new opportunities.

“The winners represent excellence in engineering, design, transformation and customer service, but they also stand for something bigger – the aspirations of millions of South Africans.”

WesBank’s sponsorship of SA Auto Week and the Accelerator Awards is an affirmation of the bank’s dedication to advancing the automotive sector and strengthening its role as a trusted partner for its customers and industry stakeholders.

“We look forward to next year’s competition, which promises to be a very interesting instalment in the wake of numerous new models and brands that have entered the South African market in recent times,” said Msibi.
