Additional Shows Announced For “the Magic Box”

Due to popular demand and an overwhelming response Disney’s The Magic Box has extended its run in both Cape Town and Johannesburg.

The show, featuring an all-South African cast opens at Artscape, Cape Town, on Wednesday, 9 October and now closes on Sunday, 10 November 2024. Thereafter, Disney’s The Magic Box moves to Montecasino’s Teatro, Johannesburg, opening on Friday, 22 November and now extended throughout the festive season to end on Sunday, 5 January 2025. Shows run weekly from Wednesday’s to Sundays with a 3pm show on Thursday, 19 December. Matinee shows at 2pm are scheduled on 24, 26, 31 December 2024 and 02 January 2025. No performances on Christmas Day and New Years Day. Early evening, 5pm shows take place on 26 December 2024 and 02 January 2025. Tickets for the additional weeks go sale on Friday, 16 August at Disneythemagicbox.com.
