Bloomwit to Address $200 Billion Crisis Hindering African Business Growth

1 July 2025 by Oti

Johannesburg, South Africa — July 1, 2025 — Bloomwit, Africa’s best writing academy, has launched a new learning management platform to extend the reach of strategic writing to more professionals and businesses across the continent.

The academy’s decision is rooted in the ongoing crisis of ineffective communication that hinders the growth of professionals and businesses in Africa. Every year, businesses on the continent lose over $200 billion due to poor writing. The far-reaching effects of this crisis affect various aspects of internal communication within businesses, as well as external communications, resulting in poor performance in areas such as marketing, advertising, branding, and public relations.
Bloomwit began its operations in August 2024 and has since trained over 2,000 professionals. The organization has also supported six Nigerian businesses by providing strategic writing assistance to help them grow their operations. With the launch of its new learning management platform, the Academy is dedicated to equipping thousands of professionals and brands with essential strategic writing skills in a short timeframe.

Commenting on the launch of the academy’s learning management platform, Bloomwit’s Chief Advisor, Oti Egwu noted, The new platform will facilitate training on a large scale, allowing over 35,000 learners to participate in our distinctively designed courses simultaneously.
