What is Pickleball?
Combine tennis, table tennis and badminton and you’ve got Pickleball
It’s the fastest growing sport in America and is played on a mini tennis court
It can be played one vs one or doubles.
Its growth in popularity is due to being low impact on the body and is easy to pick up.
Most racquet sports require hours and hours of lessons but with pickleball within 5 minutes of learning how to play you can be playing a competitive game with your friends.
Although the sport started in America there are currently 64 member countries participating in pickleball with the goal of ultimately making it an official Olympic sport.
Pickleball South Africa is the official governing body of Pickleball in South Africa and a recognized member of the International Federation of Pickleball the world governing body for the sport of Pickleball.
Our objective is to introduce and teach Pickleball to all South Africans from beginner to pro, social to club level aiming for Olympic status and representation as Team SA.
Pickleball SA is proudly led by Professional Pickleball Player and World Number 13 – Megan Charity.
