Government activities for the week 25 – 29 November 2024

On Monday, 25 November, Deputy President, Paul Mashatile will attend the National Launch of 16 Days of Activism for no Violence Against Women and Children campaign launch which will take place at the Rustenburg Local Municipality, North West province.

Also on Monday, the Deputy Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Prince Zolile Burns Ncamashe, will participate in the SADC 5th Ordinary meeting of the committee ministers responsible for Disaster Risk Management, this event will take place in Zimbabwe.

On Tuesday, 26 November, the Department of International Relations and Cooperation, the National Treasury and the Government Communication and Information System (GCIS) will host a media workshop on South Africa’s upcoming Presidency of the G20.

On Wednesday, 27 November, the Minister of Social Development Sisisi Tolashe will brief members of the media on the outcomes of the independent investigation into the roll out of the COVID-19 Social Relief of Distress Grant by the South African Social Security Agency.

On Thursday, there are no confirmed events.

On Friday, 29 November, the 2024 National Construction Summit on crime-free construction sites takes place.
