Vertex Bergbaumaschinen has announced the release of its new VCS Series Mobile Screening Plant, a mobile solution designed to enhance aggregate sorting accuracy and on-site operational flexibility. The series is engineered to meet the needs of construction, quarrying, and material recycling industries seeking high-efficiency screening under varied field conditions.
The VCS Series combines a tracked chassis with a fully integrated, multi-deck screening system, allowing operators to process a wide range of raw materials with consistent precision. Built for mobility and adaptability, the plant is suited for temporary job sites, remote locations, and multi-stage crushing and screening operations.
According to the engineering team at Vertex, the VCS Series was developed in response to growing demand for mobile equipment that can handle large volumes of material without compromising classification accuracy. Key performance indicators include a large hopper capacity, variable-speed conveyors, and optional hybrid power configurations.
“The VCS Series addresses a common challenge in the aggregate industry—achieving consistent grading without sacrificing throughput,” said a Vertex product manager. “The screening system has been optimized to maintain high separation efficiency across varying material types and moisture levels.”
Depending on configuration, the plant can accommodate multiple screen layers, each tailored for different output specifications. Field adjustability is a core design element, enabling quick modifications to screen angles and feed rates based on site-specific needs. The unit’s hydraulically adjustable components also simplify transport, loading, and reconfiguration between projects.
Additional features include:
- Modular screen decks with wear-resistant components
- Precision-adjusted vibration parameters
- Wireless remote control for travel and deployment
- Compatibility with various upstream crushers and material feeders
The VCS Series is part of Vertex’s broader portfolio of mobile material processing equipment aimed at helping operators minimize downtime and maximize material recovery. The company has indicated that several models within the series will be available, with capacities ranging from medium to high output applications.
Vertex has stated that the VCS Series is undergoing field trials in selected regions, with feedback from early adopters expected to inform future design refinements. Commercial availability is scheduled to expand gradually over the next quarter.

Anton Rupert – Dr. Anton Rupert founded the Rembrandt Group in the 1940s. After initially focusing on the tobacco industry (Peter Stuyvesant), his company soon moved into industrials and luxury goods. Rembrandt has since been split into Remgro (an investment company with financial, mining and industrial interests) and Richemont (a Swiss-based luxury goods group). Rupert was also a founding member of the WWF (World Wildlife Fund) in the 1960s. His son Johan has since turned Richemont into one of the largest luxury goods companies in the world.
