Well known South African recording artist, singer and songwriter, Holly Rey will serenade thousands of runners and walkers on National Women’s Day at the Totalsports Women’s Race in Durban on Wednesday, 09 August 2023.

“The Totalsports Women’s Race is an iconic event on the South African events calendar,” says Holly Rey. “The event celebrates women and as a granddaughter of a breast cancer survivor, it is such an honour to perform on a platform that not only raises awareness about breast cancer but also promotes and provides access to early detection facilities. I am really looking forward to experiencing the vibe on race day. There is nothing more uplifting than seeing women approach together to manufacture a contrast. This race is for all women, mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts, and grandmothers all dressed in pink. It’s a magnificent sight to behold.”

“Entrants and supporters can survey forward to experiencing qualified vibes and remarkable energy from my performance,” continues Rey. “My message to all women on the day is ‘Be your own Wonder Woman’.”
