  • iCAUR has unveiled the new V25, joining the V23 and V27 to complete its V-Series SUV range.
  • The V25 will be offered with BEV and REEV powertrains, intelligent all-wheel drive and extensive factory-integrated customisation options.
  • iCAUR also showcased three officially customised V-Series models, with selected global market introductions planned from early 2027.

iCAUR has unveiled the new V25 at the 2026 iCAUR International User Summit in Wuhu, China, completing its V-Series line-up alongside the V23 and V27.

Positioned between the V23 and V27, the V25 combines the brand’s boxy SUV design language with a choice of range-extended electric (REEV) and battery-electric (BEV) powertrains, intelligent all-wheel drive and more than 20 integrated interfaces for vehicle customisation.

The V25 continues iCAUR’s Future Classic design approach, retaining the upright proportions, round headlights and squared-off profile established across the V-Series. Its height-to-width ratio of 0.96 contributes to an almost square stance, while a flat front end, clamshell bonnet, upright windscreen, side-opening tailgate and full-size spare wheel reinforce its traditional off-road-inspired appearance.

The packaging also contributes to a claimed longitudinal space efficiency of 66.4%, with the squared body shape intended to maximise passenger and luggage space. The cabin provides 41 storage compartments, while the V25 offers up to 1,549 litres of luggage capacity. The BEV version also adds a front luggage compartment and 22 litres of underfloor storage.

The front seats can also fold flat to create a resting area with the rear seats, adding to the cabin’s versatility for outdoor use. Listed cabin features include an opening panoramic sunroof with a powered sunshade, heated and ventilated front seats with electric adjustment, driver’s seat memory and a 15-speaker sound system.

Two powertrain configurations will be offered. The REEV version uses iCAUR’s Golden REEV system, with the combustion engine operating primarily as a generator to support electric driving. The system has a claimed maximum thermal efficiency of 44.5% and a fuel-to-electricity conversion rate of 3.71 kWh/litre. Drivers can select between Forced EV, EV Priority, Hybrid, Fuel First and Forced Charge operating modes depending on driving conditions and energy requirements.

All-wheel-drive versions use the i-AWD system together with the i-SWIFT Agile Handling Platform. The dual-motor system produces a combined 335 kW and 505 N·m, with torque distribution and the use of two- or all-wheel drive adjusted according to road conditions.

The V25 has also been developed with towing and outdoor use in mind, offering a rated towing capacity of 1.8 tonnes and up to 6 kW vehicle-to-load output for powering external equipment.

Its body structure uses 80% high-strength and advanced high-strength steel and has a claimed torsional stiffness of 30,000 N·m/degree. Occupant protection includes seven airbags, including a front-centre airbag, and dual-stage load-limiting seat belts, while available driver-assistance systems include adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning, forward-collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, blind-spot detection and driver monitoring. A 540-degree surround-view camera and automated parking assistance are also available.

Customisation forms a significant part of the V25’s design, with more than 20 factory-integrated interfaces intended to accommodate accessories without requiring owners to modify critical vehicle systems. iCAUR says approximately half of its customers globally already personalise their vehicles in some form.

“The V25 is an important addition to the iCAUR lineup, because it broadens what the marque can offer without moving away from the design character that defines the range,” commented Shannon Gahagan, Head of Brand and Marketing for iCAUR South Africa and OMODA & JAECOO South Africa.

“Globally, consumers are looking for distinctively styled vehicles, but they also expect genuine versatility. The combination of electric and range-extender powertrains, all-wheel drive capability and extensive customisation will give the V25 the kind of flexibility that is particularly relevant to iCAUR customers,” added Gahagan.

The summit provided an update on iCAUR’s international expansion. The brand says it is now represented in more than 40 countries and regions, while cumulative global sales of the V23 have exceeded 100,000 units. The V23 received a Red Dot Design Award in 2026, while the V27 received the Best Interior Design Award in the Premium Car Category at the 2026 Torino Automotive Design Award.

iCAUR plans to expand its presence to more than 70 markets during 2027 while continuing to develop its sales and service operations with local partners.

The company is also introducing dedicated customisation areas within its global retail network, allowing customers to view and specify accessories and personalisation options through dealerships. Three officially customised models also debuted at the summit: the V23 Forge, V25 Game Changer and V27 Sun Roam. The V25 Game Changer draws on gaming culture, with controller-inspired details and joystick-inspired colour accents. iCAUR says all three are scheduled to roll out to global markets from early 2027. Market-specific accessory ranges are also planned.

More than 500 owners, partners and international media attended the five-day International User Summit, which included factory visits and multi-surface driving demonstrations of V-Series vehicles.

The event also marked the next phase of iCAUR’s Club Connect programme. The company currently operates official owner clubs in nine countries and plans to expand the programme internationally in 2027, along with introducing its first group of brand ambassadors.

With the arrival of the V25, the V-Series now comprises three distinct models built around a common design approach. The V23 remains the compact battery-electric offering, the V25 broadens the range with BEV and REEV powertrains and greater versatility, while the larger V27 sits at the upper end of the line-up.

Market-specific specifications, pricing and launch timing for the V25 will be announced closer to its introduction in individual markets.
