  • iCAUR V27 debuts as the brand’s flagship SUV, showcasing the brand’s “Future Classic” design language.
  • High-performance REEV drivetrain delivers 339 kW, 156 km EV range and over 1,000 km total range.
  • Premium comfort, advanced tech, and five-star safety position the V27 for global markets in 2026.

The iCAUR V27 SUV made its global debut at the 23rd China Guangzhou International Motor Show. As the new flagship model in the iCAUR V series, the V27 presents the “Future Classic” design concept and delivers a combination of refined design, advanced technology, strong performance, and comprehensive safety. The model will begin rolling out to global markets in 2026.

“Modern consumers no longer want vehicles built around a single standout feature. They expect products that perform consistently well across the board,” commented Hans Greyling, General Manager of iCAUR South Africa. “The V27 embodies that shift, combining classic-inspired design with strong performance and versatile functionality.”

Exterior design

Design is central to iCAUR’s brand identity. The V27 applies the “Future Classic” concept by combining iconic, rugged SUV proportions with contemporary details. The vehicle measures 4,899 mm long in the Small Package version, and 5,045 mm with the full spare tyre. The width, height, and wheelbase measure at 1,976 mm, 1,894 mm, and 2,900 mm, respectively.

With a wide stance, short front overhang, long bonnet, and elongated body, the V27 radiates a confident presence. The near 1-to-1 width-to-height ratio enhances the rugged look. Unique scoop surfaces add a refined visual texture, while a low window line and large side windows offer a panoramic outward view. The front features eight interchangeable colour elements, and the rear includes retro-inspired taillights. Two tailgate designs are available to suit customer preferences.

Interior and technology

The V27 introduces the “Stellar Concept” concept, which merges modern technology with a robust interior style. A class-first Stellar Porthole dual panoramic sunroof is paired with an eye-catching “floating’ Star Island ceiling, and ambient lighting that creates a distinctive atmosphere at night. The glass blocks 99.9% of UV rays for added comfort.

The driver’s seat provides a high seating position along with six-way adjustment and three-level ventilation and heating. With a usable space ratio of 69.9% and expansive windows, the interior feels open and comfortable. The cabin also offers as many as 50 practical storage spaces designed for daily use and family travel.

Powertrain and performance

The V27 features iCAUR’s range extender electric vehicle (REEV) system. It’s powered by a turbocharged 1.5-litre engine that reaches a thermal efficiency of 45.79%, supporting strong fuel economy. The 34.3 kWh battery enables 156 km of electric range, while the total driving range surpasses the 1,000 km mark.

The dual-motor setup delivers 339 kW, allowing the V27 to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in five seconds. iCAUR engineers have tuned the chassis with support from the Prodrive racing team. Combined with an advanced 4WD system, the V27 aims to deliver stable high-speed performance and precise control on mountain roads.

Safety, regardless of the terrain

The V27 meets five-star safety standards in both China and Europe. Its 11-by-11 safety cage uses more than 76% high-strength steel to help ensure occupant protection across a variety of conditions.

Global outlook

iCAUR is focused on creating classic-inspired vehicles for the new energy era and aims to become a global leader in this category. Since its first public appearance in Dubai in August, the V27 has gained positive feedback from users, media and partners worldwide. Its presentation at the Guangzhou International Motor Show further reinforced interest in this electrified SUV.

PR Gets Real About Beauty: Not all memorable moments in PR’s history come from crises. In fact, one of the most popular campaigns of the modern era – Dove’s “Real Beauty” campaign – was simply about making us feel good! In 2004, Dove’s research found that only 2% of women consider themselves beautiful. “Real Beauty” aimed to change idealized depictions of beauty by using “real” women as spokespeople, models and more. Today, Dove has become synonymous with the campaign, and many other companies, such as CVS, Aerie and J. Crew, have jumped on the “Real Beauty” trend. (Source: Dove, Glamour)
