ICC Women’s ODI Player Rankings

13 October 2026 by Guest

Australia batter Phoebe Litchfield has moved within four rating points of the top three in the ICC Women’s ODI Batting Rankings after a strong series against Bangladesh, while historic performances from Sobhana Mostary and captain Nigar Sultana Joty have also been rewarded in the latest update.

Litchfield scored 77 from 57 deliveries and 70 from 51 in Australia’s first two women’s ODI matches against Bangladesh, helping the hosts take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series taking place in Brisbane. While she remains in fifth place in the batters’ list, her performances have lifted her to a career-best 727 rating points, leaving her just four points behind team-mate Beth Mooney and West Indies captain Hayley Matthews, who share third place.

Litchfield’s teammate Georgia Voll has also made significant progress, climbing eight slots to 28th in the Batting Rankings after scoring a career-best unbeaten 131 in the second ODI. The innings helped Australia chase down Bangladesh’s 221 with nine wickets in hand and 131 balls to spare, securing the series victory.

Ellyse Perry has also moved up two rungs to re-enter the top 10 in 10th place after scoring an unbeaten 26 and 19 in the first two matches.

Bangladesh’s batters have also been rewarded for their performances, led by Mostary, whose historic 118 in the second ODI was the first century by a Bangladesh woman against Australia. She has climbed 11 places to a career-best joint-35th among the batters.

Mostary shared a record 195-run partnership for the fourth wicket with Joty, who finished unbeaten on 74. The stand was the highest partnership for any wicket against Australia in women’s ODIs, and Sultana’s contribution has lifted her 11 places to joint-24th in the rankings.

Ritu Moni has also advanced 10 places to 78th after scoring 45 from 63 deliveries in the opening match.

In the Bowling Rankings, Australia’s Megan Schutt has climbed two places to fifth after taking two wickets for 19 in the first ODI and four for 36 in the second. She is now one place behind team-mate Annabel Sutherland, who took four for 30 in the opening match.

In the ICC Women’s T20I Player Rankings, West Indies veteran Stafanie Taylor has been rewarded for an outstanding all-round performance in the final match of her team’s series against Zimbabwe.

Taylor scored an unbeaten 64 from 39 deliveries and took two wickets for eight as the visitors secured an eight-wicket victory to complete a 3-0 clean sweep in Harare, with all three wins in the series coming by the same margin.

Her efforts have lifted her seven places to joint-40th in the Women’s T20I Batting Rankings and given her a 29-slot leap to 39th in the all-rounders’ list.

For Zimbabwe, opener Kelis Ndhlovu provided a bright spot with 63 runs scored in the final match, moving her up five places to 67th in the batters’ table with her teammate Beloved Biza climbing six slots into 96th place with the bat and joint 45th in the all-rounders list.

Although Ireland has hosted the Rugby World Cup, they remain the only host nation that has not reached the semi-finals of the tournament. This demonstrates the competitive nature of the sport and the ongoing quest for Irish rugby to achieve greater success on the international stage.
