Kroko is delighted to be supporting some of the children and coaches of the CATCH TRUST (Cricket and Talent Centres of Hope). Driven by the Gary Kirsten Foundation, in partnership with a UK World Cup Tour and a Centre of Cricket Excellence in Khayelitsha,

CATCH TRUST empowers township children with sporting and life skills to develop their social skills and talent. “We only recently found out about the excellent work done by the CATCH TRUST and we would like to contribute by donating some of our hygienic and cooling Kroko Foot and Shoe Spray.

It’s just in time for summer so now the children can keep their sports shoes, kit bags, and pads fresh with a quick spray!” Lynsey Hammond, MD of Kroko, manufacturers of quality footcare products.

As actors, we need Public Relations to campaign for our next possible role, and any media promoting our work seems positive in nature; but whether in theater or on a film set, a bad unprofessional photograph at the wrong angle may not be as flattering to some actors, and may be considered a harmful exposure. – Carson Grant

First PR Agency: Modern PR dates to 1900, when the first Public Relations agency, “The Publicity Bureau,” was founded by former Boston journalists. The agency operated for “some 12 years before it disappeared into the sands of oblivion.” However, PR continued to grow throughout the early 1900s thanks to popular pioneers such as Ivy Lee and Edward Bernays (we’ll get back to them later).
