Nigeria Suffer Big Blow Ahead Of Bafana Clash | SA News

Nigeria have reportedly suffered a big blow ahead of their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Bafana Bafana on Tuesday evening.

Striker Victor Osimhen was taken off in the 35th minute against Rwanda on Saturday evening, as the Super Eagles claimed a 1-0 victory.

However, reports in Nigeria claim that Osimhen will no travel to South Africa with the rest of the squad for Tuesday’s vital encounter.

Soccernet.NG reported that the Galatasaray striker woke up with discomfort from the shin injury and will now play no part of the clash against South Africa.
