Range Rover Evoque and Range Rover Velar models are now available to order

29 January 2024 by Guest

Pretoria, South Africa – 29 January 2023: JLR South Africa has confirmed that the New Range Rover Velar and the New Range Rover Evoque are now available to order.

The New Range Rover Velar is a pure expression of modern luxury, featuring the latest technology, trademark Range Rover refinement and a dramatic, clean and reductive new design. A new grille combines with the characteristic floating roof, unbroken waistline and flush deployable door handles that define the world’s most desirable luxury SUV family.

The New Range Rover Evoque, similarly, exudes charisma and sophistication with a reductive design enhanced with the latest technologies and luxurious material choices for modern luxury clients.

Both models feature super-slim Pixel LED headlights1 with signature DRL, which deliver superior visibility as well as a technical, jewel-like appearance.

The Range Rover Velar pioneered Range Rover’s reductive design philosophy, which is elevated to a new level inside these latest models. The new single floating 11.4-inch curved glass touchscreen is positioned within the driver’s eyeline, providing immediate and intuitive control of all key functions, while liberating space for interior stowage and wireless device charging2. The new centre console is powered by Pivi Pro3, with regular Software Over The Air4 drops.

A leather-free cabin option is available in both the Velar and Evoque. The tactile material options include non-leather UltrafabricsTM and KvadratTM textile seats.

Cabin Air Purification Plus makes its debut in the Evoque and continues to be offered in the Velar as part of the optional Comfort Pack (or standard on Autobiography) to help promote occupant wellbeing and driver alertness by providing superior air quality.

The new Range Rover Velar and Evoque are offered with a comprehensive selection of power choices to suit every client. These include a range of smooth Ingenium petrol and diesel engines, alongside plug-in electric hybrid models with rapid DC charging to ensure swift charging away from home.

Trademark Range Rover engagement and composure on all terrains is provided by advanced chassis technologies. Supreme all-terrain performance is also guaranteed thanks to an intelligent torque on-demand all-wheel drive (AWD) system. It provides the optimum torque distribution to suit the conditions, whether driving dynamically on the road or pulling away from a standstill on slippery surfaces.

The New Range Rover Velar and Evoque are now available to order directly on JLR South Africa’s eCommerce websites or from JLR retail agents across the country.

Currency value: According to the Economist’s ENORMOUS MAC Index of 2016, South Africa ranks 5th in the undervaluation of its currency with a 55% under evaluation against the US$. This is noteworthy for those wanting to enter the export market!
