‘Removing One Of The Biggest Barriers To Travel’: South Africa To Revolutionize Visa System In September Amid Tourism Push | SA News

However, concerns remain about the readiness of the state to execute the digital transition effectively. The Southern Africa Tourism Services Association (SATSA), which represents tour operators and travel agents, warned last week that the government had failed to adequately consult with stakeholders.

“For it to truly support frictionless travel, the process must be consultative, transparent, and thoroughly tested ahead of rollout,” said David Frost, CEO of SATSA, in a statement.

highways connecting cities and rural areas.
