RS South Africa, a global product and service solutions provider for industrial customers, today announced the expansion of its RS PRO range tailored to the needs of the food and beverage industry. This new launch adds to an existing portfolio of over 4,300 products designed to support process manufacturing operations where quality, efficiency, and hygiene are critical.

Process manufacturing, used widely in sectors like food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals, involves combining ingredients through mixing, blending or chemical reactions. RS PRO’s latest offering aims to address the complex needs of these operations with durable, high-performance products that minimise downtime and maximise productivity.

The extended RS PRO portfolio includes solutions essential for hygiene and contamination prevention, such as disposable gloves, metal detectable cable ties, coveralls, masks, hair nets and overshoes, ensuring compliance with strict industry regulations. RS PRO also now offers an even broader range of temperature control solutions critical to food processing, including thermocouples, thermal imaging cameras, dial and infrared thermometers, and temperature-sensitive labels.

Erick Wessels, Sales Director at RS South Africa, says: “Efficiency and safety are non-negotiables in process manufacturing, especially in food and beverage. Our expanded RS PRO range delivers trusted, cost-effective solutions that help customers maintain quality, minimise risk, and reduce unplanned downtime – all from one reliable brand.”

Whether it’s preserving the cold chain in frozen food production or managing heat levels in pasteurisation, the enhanced RS PRO range supports every stage of the process manufacturing lifecycle. Customers can expect reliable performance, competitive pricing, and ongoing innovation from RS PRO, the own brand of RS.
