SA Mountaineer Answers Telemarketer While Scaling a Mountain and We’re in Stitches | SA News

A South African mountaineer answers a telemarketer mid-climb, and has us all in stitches. A little patience can go a long way, literally!

South Africa (03 August 2025) – Josh Crickmay, a mountaineer, filmmaker, adventurer, author and ranger, has South Africans giggling after sharing how his friend took a telemarketer’s call – mid-climb, on the side of a mountain.

In a video shared to Instagram on Wednesday, Crickmay had his followers in stitches after friend Chris Johnston answered the unexpected call with humour and a whole lot of grace.
