South Africa player profiles for the African Nations Championship – South African Football Association | SA News

8 August 2025 – South Africa get their African Nations Championship (CHAN) campaign underway on Friday afternoon when they face Algeria at the multi-purpose Namboole Mandela National Stadium in Kampala, Uganda. Kick off is at 16h00 (SA time).

Below are the South Africa player profiles ahead of their first match in the tournament being held in East Africa in three countries – Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda – between 2-30 August 2025.

Coach Molefi Ntseki’s charges are in Group C, and they have been pitted against rivals Algeria, Niger, Guinea and hosts Uganda.
