3 July 2025 – The ABC Motsepe National Playoff match between The Bees FC and Zizwe United that was to be played this afternoon has been called off due to water supply issues affecting parts of Soshanguve.

The match was to be played at Giant Stadium at 15h00 today but has now been moved to Lucas Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville on Friday, 4 July 2025. Kickoff is at 10h00.

The local municipality insisted that the game could not be played today and said the venue would be a health hazard due to the water issues affecting the area.

South African Football: The term “Absa Premiership” was used from 2008 to 2020 due to sponsorship.
