Lets take this article one step further:

Depending on the sector and the amount of competition, the average cost-per-click (CPC) for Google Ads in South Africa ranges from R10 to R150. For instance, businesses with greater competition, like finance and insurance, typically have higher CPCs.

Lets err on the side of caution and peg the average cost per click using Google Ads in South Africa at R20.00.

Now in the MyPR.co.za article referenced here we see a number of web sites whose OUTLINKS from MyPR have been clicked on to leave MyPR and visit the web site in question.

These OUTLINKS from MyPR represent one month’s clicks.

What is NOT displayed is the number of times each link has been clicked on.

BUT, lucky for you you are reading an insiders pithy observations and I can tell you with a 100% degree of certainty that the number of clicks for that period for each of the Top 10 OUTLINKS listed are each in excess of 700 clicks.

So, to cut a long story short – these Top 10 OUTLINKS received a value EQUIVALENT to a minimum of R14 000.00 (700 clicks x R20.00 per click).

And, how much did they pay for them?

The savvy PR Companies only pay R200.00 per month for unlimited press releases which allow the submitter to include images, YouTube embed and hyperlinks to relevant information which lead to the essential OUTLINKS we have displayed.
