Dr Patrick Soon-Shiong is the founder of NantWorks, a conglomerate using science and technology to revolutionise healthcare, energy, and media through supercomputing, AI, and biotechnology.

The South African-born medical businessman received an almost $150 million (then R2.3 billion) payday in 2015 through a stock and options payout from NantKwest, now known as ImmunityBio.
