Unboxing the Acer AITV box, exclusive to South Africa (for now) – Hypertext | SA News

The South African arm of Taiwanese computer maker Acer has promised the local market an exclusive first crack it is all-new Google TV box – Acer AITV.

South African retailers Incredible, Computer Mania, Takealot and Amazon will be the first in the world to sell the device comes 1st November 2025. Acer is promising a substantial amount with the R1 500 TV, not discounting 4K UHD streaming and Google’s AI functionality, but also a significant benefit for gamers as well.
