2025 Extreme Cycle for Hunger Tour

Meals on Wheels South Africa, a leading non-profit organisation dedicated to alleviating hunger and poverty, is thrilled to announce the upcoming 2025 Extreme Cycle for Hunger. This annual cycling event brings together passionate individuals who share a commitment to making a difference in the lives of vulnerable South Africans.

The Extreme Cycle for Hunger is a multi-day cycling tour that traverses the breathtaking South African landscape, raising crucial funds and awareness for Meals on Wheels’ vital programmes. This year’s event will take place from 25 February to 7 March 2025, with cyclists embarking on a challenging yet rewarding journey across four provinces.

“We are incredibly excited to embark on another inspiring Extreme Cycle for Hunger,” says Gershon Naidoo, National Programmes and Marketing Director. “This event is not only a physical challenge but also a testament to the power of collective action. Meals on Wheels South Africa is proud to partner with JAC Motors South Africa, a leading automotive company, as the official vehicle sponsor of the Extreme Cycle for Hunger.   1. The term “wicket” is used multiple times in cricket. Getting a wicket is dismissing a batsman. Losing a wicket is getting dismissed. A bowler who dismisses a batsman is said to take a wicket. Sometimes, a cricket pitch is called a wicket, although this is considered incorrect by the Laws of Cricket. Regardless, it is still being used, especially by commentators.
