A Festival for Everyone

Africa’s premier automotive showcase, the Festival of Motoring powered by WesBank, is revving up to welcome thousands of visitors when it opens to the public from 29 – 31 August 2025 at the iconic Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit.

The event officially kicks off with Media Day on Thursday, 28 August, giving journalists and industry stakeholders exclusive previews of the show floor, exhibitor announcements, and headline vehicle unveilings.

Now in its 8th edition, the Festival of Motoring remains the continent’s most immersive motoring celebration, bringing together over 100 exhibitors and 22 leading automotive brands for a high-octane weekend of innovation, entertainment, and unforgettable experiences.

A festival for everyone

From adrenaline seekers to families, the Festival offers a diverse programme that spans thrilling track action, lifestyle activations, and interactive displays.

Visitors can look forward to:

  • Supercar hot laps and F1 demos on the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit
  • The Takealot Self-Handling Track
  • Live motorsport action featuring the debut Vilaca Racing Ultimate Car & Driver Challenge, Sunbet ZX10 Masters Cup superbikes and the Shelby Speed Challenge.
  • Sim racing, drifting showcases, and cutting-edge car tech for fans of future mobility.
  • Santam, South Africa’s leading short-term insurer, joins as sponsor of the Premium Suite and Adventure Zone, creating elevated hospitality and interactive activations for visitors.
  • Experience partners providing hot-lap sessions – BMW Performance Parts, Simola Hillclimb and BMW Race Car Series

Getting there made easy

The Festival of Motoring is proud to partner with Kenings Car Van and Truck Hire and Mall of Africa to offer visitors a seamless travel experience. Guests can enjoy free parking at Mall of Africa (Entrances 6 & 8) and a complimentary Park & Ride shuttle directly to the venue.
