A modern strategy to avoid South Africa’s retirement shock | SA News

A recent report from the analytics group Eighty20 has laid bare a sobering reality facing South Africa: a great divide in retirement. The data paints a stark picture of two distinct groups: a minority of “comfortable retirees” and a much larger group of “humble elders,” financially fragile and often reliant on credit or state grants to survive.
