Boohle excited to join the Totalsports Women’s Race celebrations in Durban

Runners participating in the highly anticipated Totalsports Women’s Race in Durban on Sunday, 4 August 2024 will be treated to a live performance by South African singer-songwriter Boohle.

Boohle is excited to be part of this iconic women’s celebration and looks forward to treating runners to her unique blend of amapiano, afro-house, afro-soul, and gospel music.

“I am grateful for the chance to inspire thousands of women at this extraordinary event,” says Boohle. “It means a lot to me to have the opportunity to share my thoughts and concerns through my music with a captivated audience of women. I feel honored and blessed to be in a country where women can come together and freely participate in such a meaningful event without fear. Socializing with women of all ages and from all walks of life is truly special. We must embrace this opportunity with open arms and enjoy getting to know so many inspiring women, each with their own unique story.”

In closing, Boohle adds, “Runners, walkers, and supporters can look forward to great energy, vibrant vibes, and lots of fun. The Totalsports Women’s Race is a mass participation, women’s only road race that take place across three major cities (Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg) and caters to both social runners and elite athletes. It is a celebration of women’s strength and empowerment, providing a platform for women from all backgrounds to come together and participate in a high-energy, caring environment in support of PinkDrive.
