The World’s Most Beautiful Marathon just got even more exciting. At the 2026 Totalsports Two Oceans Marathon (TTOM) powered by BYD, one lucky entrant will win a brand-new BYD Dolphin Surf Vehicle worth R341,900.

Every entrant – across the Trail Run, Ultra Marathon, and Half Marathon – will automatically be entered into a lucky draw, overseen by independent auditors. The winner will discover a Golden Ticket inside their race pack, so check carefully at collection.

Chris Goldschmidt, Chairperson of the Two Oceans Marathon NPC, called it “incredible news,” adding that the chance to drive away in a new car brings a thrilling new layer to the race and rewards participants’ dedication.

Race General Manager Wade Bromfield says, “The campaign adds an unforgettable twist: Finding a Golden Ticket and winning a car creates a standout moment in every runner’s journey, highlighting how partnerships like this elevate the event experience.”

For BYD, a leader in innovation, sustainability, and everyday mobility, the partnership is a natural fit with an event that celebrates endurance and progress.

“Through this partnership, we are not only adding a new level of excitement to an already iconic race but also demonstrating how innovation and sustainability can be part of everyday moments,” says Nomonde Kweyi, Marketing Director of BYD South Africa – MEA Region. “The Golden Ticket campaign embodies BYD’s vision of accessible electric mobility, rewarding endurance with a glimpse into the future of driving.”

BYD – short for “Build Your Dreams” – is known for its electric vehicles and advanced battery technology, offering zero-emission solutions and trading on the Hong Kong and Shenzhen stock exchanges. The partnership reflects a shared mission: pushing limits and chasing dreams.

WIN an Event Entry with BYD: BYD is giving runners the chance to win an entry into the 2026 Totalsports Two Oceans Marathon powered by BYD – and ultimately, the opportunity to drive away in a brand-new BYD Dolphin Surf vehicle. Read more here: https://twooceans.bydauto.co.za/
