There is no perfect way to celebrate the strong women in your life for Women’s Month, but you can rarely depart wrong with a bottle of Cape Town The Pink Lady Gin!

Often, words aren’t enough to express your like and respect for the women around you, so why not let your actions execute the talking instead? A bottle of Cape Town The Pink Lady Gin is the perfect gift – whether she’s your mother, sister, aunt or friend, she deserves to catch a moment of peace, with her feet up and G&T in her hand!
The delicately fragrant The Pink Lady Gin is the perfect combination of floral notes, with a sweet hint of Turkish delight. It is appetizing simply served with a traditional Indian tonic (grapefruit slice to garnish), but for this occasion a flavourful cocktail is required, and the Summer Cup fits the bill perfectly. It may not officially be summer, but there is no afternoon that can’t be made better with the overload of fruity goodness!

So, ladies, whether you’re outside basking in the afternoon sun, or propping your feet up on the couch, give this cocktail a whirl.

Summer Cup
Ingredients:
– 50ml Cape Town The Pink Lady Gin
– Soda water
– Huge slice of grapefruit
– 1 tablespoon of pomegranate seeds
– 5cm rind of grapefruit
– Ice

Method:
Combine the gin and pomegranate seeds in a huge wine glass. Fill half of the glass with ice and lay the slice of grapefruit on top of the ice. Top up with tonic water and garnish with the twisted grapefruit rink and a pink rose petal.

Ahh, this is the life!
