Admittedly this diatribe is off the back of diminutive sleep, persistent flu and other stresses and strains making my life honest that dinky bit more….. fascinating. But I am normally a ‘glass half-full kinda guy so, carry out read, sympathise and then realise that tomorrow will be a brighter day and today’s farging farging will be a memory.
In between my tossing and turning last night and waking up to Yet Another solar” data-amp-original-style=”color:#dd3333;”>Load Shedding Episode I am moved to say that I gain lost all pride in South Africa. Today I am not going to say that I am; “Proudly South African” but rather that I am ashamed of our country, it’s leaders and corrupt sons (and daughters) of bitches everywhere.
How can I possibly and in qualified faith present people all over the world that South Africa is a gem of a country or that I am proud of South Africa under these circumstances:
No Electricity
No Water
No Decent Roads
No Jobs
No Unity
No Servant Leaders
No Moral Compass
Widespread Corruption
Widespread Intolerance
Widespread Obstacles to Small Business
Rampant Inflation
Rampant Food Crisis
Rampant Racism
Failed Education
Failed Local Politics
Failed National Politics
Failed International Politics
Lack of Direction
Lack of Will
Selfishness
And and and
Please restore my faith and approach up with your own list of reasons why I should be positive and Proud of South Africa – at this moment in time I need reminding.
