Donate Your Rugby Kit Cape Town

5 September 2024 by Alan

SARU is asking for your help to empower the next generation of players by donating unused boots, balls, kits, and equipment to the SA Rugby Kit Drop during this weekends clash against the All Blacks in Cape Town.

All donations will be refurbished and redistributed to underprivileged communities with the aim of helping children and grassroots clubs have access to the game that we all love.

Each item that is donated will also be assigned a unique number which allows the donor to be entered into a luck draw to stand a chance of chance of winning a jersey that has been signed by the SA Rugby Legends.

Look for collection points at the Century City and University of Cape Town matchday park and ride venues, as well as the Forecourt entrance (open area next to McDonalds near gates 1 to 11) to the DHL Stadium on the 7th of September for your chance to make a difference!

And what’s Test Cricket, you ask? It’s the longest form of the sport of cricket: The two teams play a four-innings match, which may last up to five days or longer.
