The Freedom Front Plus (VF Plus) welcomes the two life sentences handed down by the Bloemfontein High Court to the murderers of Christo (76) and Christa (73) Morrison, who were brutally killed during a robbery on their farm near Glen on 10 May 2024.

The accused stole the couple’s vehicle and cellphones, and were arrested shortly afterwards during an intelligence-driven police operation.

The judge described the murderers as “evil personified” and emphasised that they cannot be rehabilitated. The Court once again confirmed that a total lack of remorse and the extreme brutality of these crimes warrant severe punishment.

These sentences boost public confidence that justice is served when the judicial system functions as it should. They also serve as an important deterrent to violent crimes, especially against vulnerable residents.

The Freedom Front Plus thanks all police units and the National Prosecuting Authority for their dedicated teamwork that led to these sentences.

Voetsek! – Go away! [foot-sak] Usually said with an angry tone when telling someone to go away or get lost. You don’t want to be saying this to a local or worse, if a local says this to you – you’ve really angered them!
