Fuel Price Drop

In the News Today: Motorists will be happy to know that the price of petrol and diesel drop today, Wednesday, October 2.

The prices of all grades of petrol and diesel are set to make a decrease.

Illuminating paraffin is also expected to decrease, with the only price rise coming in the cost of LP Gas. The fuel price adjustments were announced by the Department of Mineral and Petroleum Resources on Monday, September 30.

The price adjustments for fuel, paraffin and gas are as follows:

Petrol 93 (ULP & LRP): R1.06 decrease.

Petrol 95 (ULP & LRP): R1.14 decrease.

  1. Biltong – seasoned strips of dried meat. Similar to beef jerky (but much tastier!), this is the spicy, cured snack eaten at rugby matches. It is usually made from beef, game and even ostrich.

  2. A Priest was seated next to Van Der Merwe on a flight to Brakpan.

    After the plane was airborne, drink orders were taken.

    Van Der Merwe asked for a Rum and Coke, which was brought and placed before him.

    The flight attendant then asked the priest if he would like a drink.
