In a year marked by global uncertainty and constant change, it’s time to hit reset and welcome some compassion, kindness, care and joy into the world. KwazuluSpirit Festival 2026 is just the event – an invitation for everyone to choose a path of conscious living. Taking place on 30 and 31 May 2026 at the Salt Rock Beach Resort, this two-day celebration of consciousness brings together some of South Africa’s most respected wellness practitioners, thought leaders, and transformational facilitators.

Curated by Debra Robins, the festival continues to grow as a meaningful platform for intentional living, grounded in its guiding philosophy: ‘Our footprint is kindness; our credo, consciousness’.

“As we navigate an increasingly complex and often overwhelming world, it becomes essential to consciously create spaces where people can reconnect with themselves and one another,” says Robins. “KwazuluSpirit Festival is a space where kindness is lived, consciousness is cultivated, and where each person is invited to contribute to a collective energy of healing, love, and higher awareness.”

The 4th Year of Collective Connection

Now in its 4th year, KwazuluSpirit Festival has been inspired by leading global events such as the Bali Spirit Festival and New Zealand’s Spirit Festivals, while carving out its own unique identity rooted in South Africa’s wellness landscape.

At its core, the festival is a vibrant exploration of the human spirit that blends mindfulness, movement, healing, and creative expression into immersive experiences. It’s designed to move participants beyond the individual and into a collective space of upliftment and connection.

“Consciousness is contagious,” continues Robins. “When we gather with intention – through movement, meditation, conversation, and creativity – we generate a ripple effect that extends far beyond the festival itself. This is where transformation begins.”

A Powerful 2026 Programme

This year’s programme promises an expansive line-up of experiences – all included in the ticket price – so that attendees can fully immerse themselves throughout the weekend.

Visitors can look forward to:

1. Transformational Masterclasses and Talks

Festivalgoers can engage with leading voices, including Sarah Bullen, Christa Buthelezi, Anne-Marie Clulow, Colleen-Joy Page, Jenna Dias, and Sharon Castle, who will cover topics ranging from personal growth to spiritual insight and conscious living and parenting.

2. Spiritual Connection and Mediumship

Renowned practitioners such as Liz Viviers, Taz Singh, and Chanel Lingenfelder will offer sessions exploring connection beyond the physical realm, including live channelling and intuitive guidance.

3. Movement and Embodiment

A highlight of the festival, the movement programme includes Tai Chi with Leo Ming, Hatha Yoga, Meditation and Kirtan with Duncan Rice, and Sacred Dance with Liz Cunningham, all designed to bring awareness into the body and anchor intention through physical expression.

4. Sound Healing and Meditation

Attendees can also experience deeply restorative sound journeys including Sensorium and Anne de Chazal. The Festival concludes with a Metta Meditation led by a member of the Buddhist Retreat Centre, Ixopo.

5. Visionary and Signature Experiences

Additional standout events include:

  • Fire Walking with Cobus ‘The Viking’ Visser
  • The Rise of the Divine Feminine with Rouxvé, spiritual teacher, priestess and integrative guide
  • Untamed Men with former Springbok Joe van Niekerk and Brett Shuttleworth
  • The immersive Secret Sensorium Soundscape experience with Anne-Marie Clulow Visser and Tim Visser
  • A powerful panel discussion, The Other Side, hosted by Sarah Bullen, featuring Christa Buthelezi, Cobus Visser and Heike Sym
  • Channelling to Write Workshop with Sarah Bullen

6. Energencia Bliss Booths Energy Healing Marathon

There will be energy healing available for both days in the pop-up Healing Shala on the beach terrace, with 13 booths and 26 healers. Modalities include: Western and Japanese Reiki, Seichim and Angelic Reiki, Kinesiology, Access Bars and Crystal Healing.

Complementing the main programme is a Mindful Artisan Market at the Salt Rock Country Club field on Saturday, 30 May, open to the public at no cost. This vibrant space will feature local artisans, live music by Ricky Zuma, children’s entertainment, and a Traditional Healing Village hosted by practitioner Godfrey Madlalate, offering an authentic and enriching cultural experience for all.

How Bush and his junta succeeded in deflecting America\’s anger from bin Laden to Saddam Hussein is one of the great Public Relations conjuring tricks of history. But they swung it.
