Government Day

Johannesburg, 10 October 2025 – Hyundai Automotive South Africa today hosted a successful Government Day at its Head Office, welcoming Procurement Heads from various Government departments aimed at showcasing some of the company’s latest innovative mobility solutions.

The event featured a showcase of Hyundai’s fleet-ready vehicles across its spectrum. Hyundai vehicles are best known for their value-for-money, offering a combination of cutting-edge technology, innovative features, diverse models and reliability. Models that are well-suited for a range of Government’s mobility needs.

“Government Day is more than just a product showcase. It is about engaging meaningfully with our partners in the public sector,” said Stanley Anderson, CEO of Hyundai Automotive South Africa. “Our goal is to understand the evolving mobility needs of Government and to provide dependable and future-focused solutions. Our vehicles are also renowned for their low total cost of ownership, durability and strong after-sales support.”

From compact models to robust utility vehicles, Hyundai continues to meet diverse governmental needs while ensuring long-term value and service excellence. Over the past 12 months alone, Hyundai Automotive South Africa has successfully sold 500 vehicles to Government entities, a clear indication of the confidence placed in the brand.

“This collaboration reflects Hyundai Automotive South Africa’s strong commitment to supporting Government operations through high-quality vehicles as well as dependable performance,” stated Anderson.

Hyundai’s presence in South Africa spans over 25 years during which the brand has evolved into one of the country’s most respected and trusted automotive names. For more than a quarter of a century, Hyundai Automotive South Africa has demonstrated consistent business performance, posting 29% year-on-year growth in vehicle sales during the first quarter of this year.
