Gys Says the Nelson Mandela Bay Metropolitan Municipality Is a Foe

3 September 2024 by Guest

Gys rates the Nelson Mandela Bay Metropolitan – Eastern Cape as 4/10.

Gys has the following to say about Nelson Mandela Bay Metropolitan – Eastern Cape:

The coalition council V31.2 continues to fight as if NMB is a rich pig for the taking.

Our Mayor occupies a Titular position and seems more interested is using citizens money to fight to keep his position via the courts whilst fitting in three visits to China – to ‘encourage tourism and investment’.

If we saw images of him back home in GQ pressing the flesh of Chinese investors and tourists then we would be happy.

Like all municipalities our street lights are lying down, our roads are a checker board of potholes, Our electricity and water infrastructure is ion serious need of CPR and BILLIONS.

IF our Councillors just once would focus SOLELY on fixing the Municipality and stop getting ridiculous increases whilst spending money like a kid in Willie Wonka’s Factory then maybe, just maybe, we could rid ourselves of the ‘Ghost on the Coast’ monniker!
