Hyundai Pinetown Breaks National Sales Record

4 December 2025 by Guest

The Hyundai Pinetown dealership has once again raised the bar in South Africa’s automotive retail sector, setting a new all-time monthly sales record for Hyundai Automotive South Africa.

The dealership sold an unprecedented 300 vehicles in November, surpassing its own previous record of 265 vehicle sales. This exceptional performance comes against the backdrop of an industry where monthly dealership sales typically range between 40 and 100 vehicles, making Hyundai Pinetown’s achievement a standout milestone in the national motoring industry.

Sidney Francis, Dealer Principal at Hyundai Pinetown attributed the historic result to the dealership’s resolute focus on continuous customer-first experience and excellence. “Breaking the 300 sales mark in a month, is a proud and humbling moment for our entire team,” said Francis.

“This result is the outcome of consistent hard work, an engaged and motivated staff complement and the trust our customers place in us every day. We are grateful for their support and remain committed to delivering more exceptional service.”

Stanley Anderson, CEO of Hyundai Automotive South Africa, extended his congratulations. “Hyundai Pinetown has once again demonstrated what is possible when passion, discipline, and customer focus come together,” Anderson said.

“This dealership has earned numerous awards over the years, yet instead of resting on their achievements, they continue to push harder and setting new benchmarks. Their November performance is nothing short of exceptional and we are incredibly proud of the entire team!”

Hyundai Pinetown’s record-breaking success comes in a year already marked by international recognition. In August this year, they were honoured with a prestigious Global Top 100 Dealers of the Year Award presented by José Munoz, President and CEO of Hyundai Motor Company CEO, acknowledging Hyundai Pinetown as one of the top-performing Hyundai dealerships worldwide.

Gateway to Sub-Saharan Africa – Not only is South Africa itself an important emerging economy, it is also the gateway to Sub-Saharan markets, where its well-developed infrastructure allows for transportation into Africa. The country is a regional leader and a member of the BRICS collaboration. South Africa is a good place to establish a business in the region, and many companies expand their business activities from South Africa to the rest of the region.
