Hyundai Turns 25

27 October 2025 by Guest

It is party time! Hyundai Automotive South Africa amplified its 25-year anniversary by hosting Hyundai Fun Fest celebrations, at various Hyundai dealerships across the country.

Guests were treated with music, food stalls, dance as well as cash giveaways to coincide with the 25 years of operating in South Africa. The celebrations were the first ignition sparks in a series of events across the country, culminating in a national celebration next month that promises even more excitement, innovations and surprises.

“These celebrations are a thank you to our loyal customers who have made these 25 years possible. Part of the festivities include a historic journey through augment reality, tracing Hyundai Automotive South Africa’s history from 2000 to its current brand elevation,” said a jubilant Stanley Anderson, CEO of Hyundai Automotive South Africa. “Our dealerships are the heartbeat of our business therefore, it made strategic and perfect sense to kick off the celebrations right from our showrooms, with our customers.”

As part of the festivities, guests got to experience first-hand evolution and innovation of Hyundai’s latest models. At its core, the Hyundai brand is a family-centric brand, built around the belief that every family member deserves reliable, stylish and affordable mobility.

Whether it is a University student looking for their first budget-friendly car, a busy Mom needing a safe and spacious SUV to shuttle the kids to school or a businessperson seeking premium comfort and performance, Hyundai offers a vehicle to suit every lifestyle. From entry-level models packed with value to top-tier and tech-advanced cars, the Hyundai brand ensures no one in the family is left behind.

“We are celebrating our journey, at the same time looking forward to 25 more years of growth. From humble beginnings to becoming one of South Africa’s most loved automotive brands in this highly competitive industry, is no mean feat. Thank you South Africa,” added Anderson.
