In celebration of Heritage Day, Kyalami Corner is thrilled to present an inspiring campaign that reflects the true spirit of South Africa—resilience, optimism, and joy. This year, we’re exploring a thought-provoking question that resonates with many:
“Where do most people find the inspiration and motivation to rise above everyday challenges and discover genuine, lasting happiness?”

In our pursuit of answers, we remain dedicated to our core belief: “Let happiness be our heritage.” This ongoing strategy highlights how, despite life’s obstacles, happiness is something we can all find and share. Our campaign aims to spread this message and encourage a movement of positivity that helps people find joy in their everyday lives.

At Kyalami Corner, Heritage Day is about more than reflecting on our past. It’s about celebrating the strength and positivity that carry us forward. We want to hear how you’ve embraced the #JoinTheUpside mindset, and by doing so, contribute to a wider movement that celebrates optimism, resilience, and the power of a positive outlook.

Do you have a story about how you turned a tough situation into an opportunity for growth? Or how you’ve inspired others to rise above their challenges? We want to hear it!

Share your story with us using the hashtags #UpsizeMyUpsideand #KyalamiCorner, and you could stand a chance to WIN your share of R5000 in vouchers!

But the thought leaders on talk radio and Fox do more than shape opinion. Backed by their own wing of the book-publishing industry and supported by think tanks that increasingly function as public-relations agencies, conservatives have built a whole alternative knowledge system, with its own facts, its own history, its own laws of economics. – David Frum
