The Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse (Outa) says it is considering legal action against municipalities that require sign-off by Engineering Council of South Africa (Ecsa) members for home solar power systems.
The organisation previously put pressure on Eskom to scrap this requirement for its direct customers, arguing that it was not necessary from a technical or safety perspective and inconsistent with regulations.
