Location of first Walmart store in South Africa revealed | SA News

Walmart has announced that its first South African store will open in Clearwater Mall on Johannesburg’s West Rand.

This launch of the Clearwater Mall store will mark the official arrival of the American retail giant’s own-branded stores in the country.

In a statement, Walmart said that the new branch will introduce what the company calls its “Every Day Low Prices” approach to local shoppers.

The company described this as a model built on price consistency and affordability rather than short-term discounts.
